Privacy policy

The website and the booking system are operated by Clear-Cash Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (Clear-Cash Kft.). Registered office: 1118 Budapest, Kaptárkő utca 2. 4/15. Hungarian tax number: 27076806-1-43.

The shop is not at the registered office: The Fade Barbers is at 1135 Budapest, Szegedi út 5., and your appointment is there.

For privacy matters, reach us in person at the shop (1135 Budapest, Szegedi út 5.).

When you book, we ask for your name and phone number. The name tells us who to expect; the phone number lets us reach you if anything changes.

Your e-mail address is used for the confirmation and the reminder. You can book without one, then we arrange things by phone.

We send a reminder SMS to your phone number before the appointment, and if you gave no e-mail address, the confirmation comes by SMS too. These are only about your own appointment; we send no advertising to it.

With the booking we store the chosen service, the time, the barber, the language of the booking and the price at the time. If you write a note, that too.

For walk-ins we note the name only; we ask for no phone number or e-mail in the shop.

We process booking data because the booking creates a service contract between us, and that contract has to be performed (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

The confirmation and the reminder (by e-mail or SMS) are part of that same contract, so we ask no separate consent for them. The newsletter is different: we only send it if you tick the box.

Cookies needed for the site to work are used on the basis of legitimate interest. Analytics and advertising cookies start only with your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)); you give or refuse it in the bar at the bottom of the page, and can decide again any time by clearing your browser cookies.

Booking data is kept for five years from the day of the appointment, because accounting rules require that for service-related records.

The log of notifications sent (to whom, on which channel, when, whether it succeeded) is kept for the same period so we can tell later whether you received the confirmation. For SMS the log includes the phone number.

The cookie that remembers your consent lives one year; then we ask again.

Your data is seen by the person at the shop who fulfils your booking.

Our technical processor is Cloudflare, Inc.: it hosts the site and the database, and its e-mail service delivers the confirmation and reminder messages. The database is located within the European Union.

SMS messages are sent by APPON LINE Kft. (2120 Dunakeszi, Római utca 1/1., Hungary; tax number 23137631-2-13) through its SimpleSMS service. It receives two things: your phone number and the text of the message, which contains your first name and your appointment time. Nothing else, and only when an SMS is actually sent.

If you allow measurement, Google Ireland Limited also receives data about your visit (Google Analytics, Google Ads). Without consent these are not loaded at all.

We do not sell your data and do not pass it on to anyone for marketing.

You can see what we hold about you; you can ask for correction, erasure or restriction of processing. You can object to the processing and ask for your data in a portable format.

You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

You can ask us not to send SMS. Then you get notices by e-mail, or we arrange things by phone. Your booking is unaffected.

Send your request in person at the shop (1135 Budapest, Szegedi út 5.). We reply within one month.

If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu) or go to court.

The confirmation e-mail contains a link that is yours alone: with it you can view, cancel or move your appointment without signing in. The link is secret: anyone who has it can reach your booking, so don’t pass it on.

Online cancellation is possible up to two hours before the appointment. With less time left, please call us.

Cookies needed for the site are always used: remembering your consent choice and the signed-in session.

Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads) start only if you allow them in the bar at the bottom of the page. If you refuse, they are not loaded.
